I was born with a love affair of dainty herb flowers and soil under the nails deep in my bones thanks to my mother, aunty, and grandmothers. Somehow gardens were transformed into secret rooms, plants into medicine, and before I could ever be educated on the concept of it – I knew that’s where our magick lived. It is a dream come to fruition working with my hands, with plant allies, my intuition, to create offerings that you might call home.
“Kitty is a witch, a spiritual practitioner, a diviner, an herbalist, a seeker… but also very, very real, embracing and sharing in all the parts of todays’ life” – Kamaylah
“Sorcerers of handcrafted, small batch, high-vibe beauty and wellness products, made to elevate and inspire daily moments, turning mundane into magick.”
The ingredients we source are of the highest quality, striving toward organic and Australian grown. Our products are made by hand in small batches to retain integrity, and to infuse them with our medicine - intentions of healing and self-love.
With the strong belief that women need women to thrive, we facilitate workshops and events that bring together and strengthen community, connections, and sisterhood, with the added bonus of taking away your own handmade projects, products, or new knowledge, or having space held for some inner healing to take place.
The Cottage lies on Bangerang Country in Shepparton, Victoria. Kitty is passionate about sourcing ingredients that are not only ethically and sustainably sourced, but come from as close to home as possible - reducing the carbon footprint, with priority given to Australian businesses that are, employ, support, or partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander growers, suppliers, and communities.
Every product made, every creation brought to life, is an acknowledgment to the traditional custodians of this land here on Bangerang soil, and nation-wide. We honour the importance of connection to land, culture, and community, and are grateful for the opportunity this allows us to gain knowledge and access to the diverse and powerful native botanicals this country provides.
A portion of every sale is either donated to, or used to pay forward from, Aboriginal businesses, causes, or organisations that provide healing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. They are the backbone, the matriarchs, the life-givers, it’s important to us to support and nurture women so we may have strong and healthy communities raising strong and healthy communities.
